I was also suckered into Swipe Auctions! I fortunately won some items. Today 11/2/2010 asked the question to LIVE CHAT on the web site if they were having problems with the web site as only 40 bid packs were up for auction. This was now the 3rd day in a row that I saw this. This statement is VERBATIM form the reply I received back form the LIVE CHAT member:
    Sam#SA7944:
Thank you for visiting SwipeAuctions.com Livechat Line. How may I assist you today?
Me: Are you having problems with the site?
    Sam#SA7944:
Swipeauctions is winding down operations due to merchant shutting down our processing and is no longer accepting new customers. In addition , Swipeauctions will not issue refunds for membership fees (see the Swipeauctions’ terms & Conditions). During Swipeauctions’ wind down period, all products corresponding to already paid winning auctions will be shipped in accordance with the Terms & Conditions.
    Me:
So any bids that I still have will be lost?
    Sam#SA7944:
I sincerely apologize, but I have no further details to provide you with at this time. As a livechat agent, I have not been fully informed of all the details behind the shutdown. Therefore; I am simply unable to assist you with any further information.
    Me:
Will there be anymore merchandise up for auction?
    Sam#SA7944:
I am simply unable to assist you with any further information.

    This ended the live chat.
The site is shutting down and according to the terms and condition there are no refunds to memberships fees or bids that have been purchased. I still have 39,024 bids purchased and waiting to be used that I figure at a cost of $1,365.84 that I will be out!
There must be many people out there that the same thing will happen to!
There needs to be a class action law suite brought against this company!
